Discovering Neocities and seeing projects like this allows me to rediscover what it felt like growing up in the early 2000s. My first PC was a Gateway 2000 and the only reason we had it in the house was because my mom likes cows and the box looked like a Holstein Friesian :) That gateway was where I first torrented adobe and sony vegas. Countless memories of those days. Every time I see sites with windows 95/98/XP aesthetics I get really nostalgic. Most of those memories were made in my lonesome, although I didn't feel alone, I was somewhat socially inept and even when I played outside it was common for me to be alone. The internet was a different place and had a different feeling back then, and I feel like today with all the drudgery and slop there's this renaissance beginning with sites like this. So take pride in being some of the few that is allowing others to rediscover the old-net and allow peeps like me to relive those days. <3

Hello, I am drake. I saw your website and found out that your are doing great work in it. Look, finding friends is something you have no control of and will always be dependent on the other person. But what you can do is find satisfaction and peace within yourself. Once you become one with yourself, you will never feel the need for a "friend". Keep up with the journal, I will come back to read it. And also add some god damn games, bruh. Regards, Drake
